About the Expert


Robby Powell
Advisory Product Manager, SAS

Powell has more than 30 years of experience in the technology industry. Having spent over half his career as a software developer creating visualization tools, his experience taking products from concept to delivery – and all the steps along the way – gives him a bottom-up understanding of how to address industry use cases and deliver quality customer outcomes. Currently, Powell is a Product Manager on the SAS Visual Analytics team, responsible for geo analytics, mobile apps and the visual analytics SDKs. He holds a BS in computer science from North Carolina State University.
