Creative and Message Object Manager Improvements

(SAS Customer Intelligence 360 Engage)

Features

  • Object managers (or listing pages) for both Creatives and Messages have been upgraded with performance improvements. Previously, the UI would load all items at once, resulting in a longer load time. Only the first 200 items are loaded initially, with additional items loaded in blocks of 200.
  • Filtering is more responsive. As values are selected, other values in the faceted filter panel will disappear if no objects match a value (e.g., if count is 0, value is hidden).
  • If using a Saved Filter, you can now de-select values via either the advanced search panel or remove tokens displayed above search results.

Benefit

  • By loading only the first 200 items initially and fetching additional items in blocks of 200 as you scroll, the UI responds faster and handles long lists more efficiently. This improvement reduces wait times and enhances user productivity when managing large sets of objects.
  • Improved search and filter experience.
Note:
  • Performance upgrades come with one caveat: When searching for items via a text string, you will need to click the search button/icon to tell SAS Customer Intelligence 360 to run the search.

Direct Marketing Task Modernization

(SAS Customer Intelligence 360 Direct)

Features

These updates are designed to enhance workflow, reduce confusion and provide a more seamless and intuitive user experience.

  • Insights > Overview Enhancements
    • Streamlined View: If you’re working on tasks that are still being designed, you will no longer see an option for selecting occurrences or viewing metric results.
    • Consistent Layout: The controls are organized at the top of the Insights page to match the layout used in other task types, making navigation more intuitive.
    • Better Organization: Segments without tests are now displayed separately from those with tests.

  • Enhanced Targeting tab
    • Dynamic Sorting: After editing a cell in a sorted column, the row order will automatically update to reflect the sort, making finding your changes easier. Be aware that rows might move out of view if there are a lot of entries.

  • Updated Testing tab (Holdout Control Groups)
    • Clearer Display When Disabled: When holdout control groups are disabled, you’ll see a clear initial state instead of a disabled properties panel, making it easier to know what you can and cannot interact with.
    • Standardized Selection Dialog: Standard custom segment selection dialog has replaced the custom segment selection dialog, ensuring a consistent experience across SAS Customer Intelligence 360.

  • Permissions Handling in Export Content tab:
    • Consistent Edit Restrictions: In the Edit Export Table dialog, fields remain editable, but the save button is disabled without the necessary permissions, providing consistency with other areas of the UI.

Benefit

  • UI is streamlined and more consistent with other task types to reduce confusion. This helps you stay organized and quickly find what you need.
