Google Ads Connector: SSO Enhancements
(Integration)
Features
- SAS Customer Intelligence 360 now offers support for single sign-on (SSO) authentication for Google Ads connectors.
- Admin Configuration: An admin initially configures the Google Ads connector and links it to a specific Google Ads account.
- User-Specific Credentials: It is not possible to use a single admin account for the entire solution. Both users and admins must log in separately for each connector or Google Ads account they wish to interact with. Tasks will be executed using the Google credentials of the user who publishes them.
- Authentication Requirements: Login is required when creating a new Google Ads audience, publishing a task (either on schedule or manually), or running a task. Note that the access token is retained per user and connector.
Benefit
- This enhancement simplifies the authentication process, eliminating the need for managing multiple tokens or credentials when configuring connectors and executing tasks.
Note:
- Managing Connectors: Users can view and manage the connectors they are associated with by navigating to User Menu -> Settings -> Integrations -> Single Sign-On.
- API Task Execution: Tasks executed through the API will utilize the admin token that was initially used to set up the connector.
- Changing Connector Associations: The association between a connector and a Google Ads account can only be modified if there are no active tasks currently using the connector.

Custom Connector Integrations: Enhanced Authorization
(Integration)
Features
- SAS Customer Intelligence 360 now supports the configuration of OAuth 2.0 authorization, utilizing standard OAuth 2.0 grant types, such as authorization codes and client credentials.
- There is no longer a need to manually enter tokens into the UI. The system automatically generates tokens based on provided credentials and URLs, ensuring no credentials are stored or retrievable through the UI.
- Expired tokens are automatically refreshed, eliminating the need for manual updates.
- Users can authorize using both standard and custom parameters, which can be configured at the connector endpoint.
Benefit
- Improved Security: By removing the need to store or retrieve credentials through the UI, this feature enhances security, reducing the risk of credential exposure and unauthorized access.
- Seamless User Experience: The automatic generation and management of tokens streamline the workflow, eliminating the need for users to manually enter or refresh tokens, which saves time and reduces potential errors.
- Flexible Authorization: The ability to configure both standard and custom parameters at the connector endpoint allows for greater customization and adaptability to meet specific integration requirements.

Custom Task Types: Performance Analytics
(Reports & Insights)
Features
- SAS Customer Intelligence 360 now provides the ability to view key performance metrics directly within the platform for custom bulk and custom triggered tasks.
- View counts of the number of unique users, unique conversions, conversion rates, and metric counts for both primary and secondary metrics.
- With custom tasks customer responses often occur outside the SAS CI 360 ecosystem. You can now feed this external data back into the platform to measure unique conversions, conversion rates, and other key metrics. Whether integrating with your Call Center, CRM platforms, sending SMS, WhatsApp messages or any other 3rd party integration, with this you can easily review engagement.
- Additionally, standard events—like Page Views or Add to Cart actions—can now be monitored directly in SAS CI 360, enabling you to evaluate task performance without relying on third-party reporting systems.
Benefits
- This provides a holistic understanding of task performance without the need for external analytics tools.
Note:
- For more information, see Monitoring Your Triggered Custom Task . Also, see Monitoring Your Bulk Custom Task.
- You can view this report for the new tasks that you add. For existing tasks, you can view the report only after you publish the task again.

Insights: New export options
(Reports & Insights)
Features
- The latest version of SAS Customer Intelligence 360 allows you to customize the data you export from reports.
- When you hide a column in a report, it will not be included in the exported data, giving you more precise and relevant exports.
- This feature applies to exports for global task reports available from the Insights option in the navigation bar, as well as task-specific reports.
- The columns you choose to hide or display are saved per user, per report, ensuring that your preferences are retained across sessions for a more personalized experience.
Benefits
- The ability to hide columns from reports ensures that only relevant data is exported, making the process more efficient and tailored to your specific needs.
- Column preferences are saved per user and per report, allowing for a consistent and streamlined reporting experience without the need to reconfigure settings each time.
