David Parent
With nearly two decades of extensive analytics expertise, David Parent is passionate about evidenced based decision making. In his most recent position at Capital One, David lead the Model Infrastructure and Analytics team as part of the Risk Capital and Analytics organization. In this position, he was in charge of overseeing modeling analytic and execution of CCAR models as well as Basel II parallel processes. David used his analytical prowess to build an analytics center of excellence.
Prior to David’s role at Capital One, David lead teams of statistical programmers across multiple Card LOBs, Retail Banking and the Model Validation and Governance teams. David has also held roles such as a Business Analyst for a capitated insurance group, as well as a clinical trials Statistician at UCLA’s Neuropsychiatric Institute. He has both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Economics.
