Talent Connection in Italy: Bridging the Gap Between Emerging Talent and Industry Leaders
For years, we have dedicated ourselves to creating valuable connections between young data scientists and leading companies through innovative activities. Our approach is twofold and complementary:
SAS Job Speed Dating: Held during major SAS events like the SAS Forum Milan (in-person) and "Be Curious, Be Innovative" (remote), this afternoon academic session is designed to facilitate swift and meaningful introductions. Numerous SAS partner companies, in search of talented young data scientists proficient in SAS, interview students for potential internships or job opportunities.
Directory of Students with SAS Knowledge: This online platform is a vital resource, linking aspiring data scientists with SAS customers and partners who are actively seeking skilled SAS professionals. It serves as a bridge, helping companies find the right talent to meet their needs (a link to access it can be found at the bottom of this page).
We are also excited to announce that we are exploring new avenues to tailor our talent connection services to specific client requirements. This initiative includes an initial training segment on SAS and business topics, known as the SAS Master Class, designed to prepare students thoroughly before they embark on their internship placements. The SAS Academic Specialisation is a distinction granted by SAS to Universities and other higher education institutions that incorporate SAS into their curriculum, requiring a minimum of 150 hours of SAS-related instruction. More information can be found here.
