Iberia Women’s Initiative Network (WIN)

WIN for Iberia is a strong community of SAS employees located in Spain and Portugal who empower, encourage and inspire women to pursue excellence in their careers and fulfillment in their personal lives. Members act as ambassadors for SAS and STEM careers, sharing time and expertise to develop leadership capabilities among female employees, expand professional networks, showcase thought leaders and attract women to careers in science and technology.

What Does WIN DO?

Our mission is to help one another achieve personal satisfaction and professional excellence, while reaching into our communities to empower and inspire other women with our passions in the STEM world.

  • Professional Development, Hold high quality, well attended events that support the career development of the individual
  • Community Development, Encourage community outreach activities that expose area youth to technology and increase their understanding of STEM related career opportunities.
  • Networking, Sponsor both internal and external networking events that cater to building relationships.
     

Collaboration and Networking

WiMLDS Spain it's an organization with the mission is to support and promote women and gender minorities who are practicing, studying or are interested in the fields of machine learning and data science.

Women4Cyber Spain is a non-profit private foundation with the objective to promote, encourage and support the participation of women in the field of cybersecurity. SAS Participate on Women4Cyber Spain Mentorship program.

The Women in Analytics (WIA) Network is a SAS sponsored networking program aimed to strengthen diversity in the analytics field. The program leverages the SAS values of authenticity, value for work/life integration and passion to build a community of women who are interested in and will advocate for Women in Analytics. Our audience is anyone wishing to contribute to or build a career in analytics.

Work/Life Resources

We want our employees to enjoy their life at work as much as they enjoy life outside of work. That’s why we have a dedicated Work/Life department that focuses on supporting employees at all levels of their professional and personal stages of life.

SAS has Work/Life staff and resources specifically dedicated to helping young professionals, aiding new families, navigating college prep, assisting with eldercare and everything else in between. Seminars, workshops, e-learning, individual assessments and more help employees from all generations find their unique balance.
