How To Become a SAS Accredited Training Centre
STEP 1
Apply to the program
Once you submit the interest form on this page, a SAS Delivery professional will follow up. You will be required to undergo an appropriate business due diligence process. You will need to provide details of your Training Facilities and the related service-level parameters.
STEP 2
Complete the enablement program
Building a SAS Education training facility that hosts SAS-technology and training materials contributes to your localized success. You'll complete the enablement program to develop a deep understanding of hosting SAS Education offerings at your SAS Accredited Training Centre facilities.
A SAS Professional will guide you in this process.
STEP 3
Evaluation of the facilities
The physical and technical capabilities of your facilities will be evaluated for alignment to the SAS Education Standards.
It is essential that it includes the following minimum requirements:
- Unlimited internet access granted (no firewalls) with a sufficient bandwidth (>10 MB/s)
- Front of room 4K 108” Display or 4000 ANSI lumen 4K-Projection (Beamer)
- Two free front-of-room power sockets
- Flipchart
- Whiteboard
- Presentation material (presenter, pencils)
- Centralized management system for student PC's
- Table > 90 cm width, ergonomic Chair
- Height-adjustable table than can accommodate wheelchair seating
- Either 1 x 27” or 2 x 24” monitor per student
- Windows computer (or BYOD) with Google Chrome, Media Player, PDF viewer
- QWERTY Keyboard with Numeric Pad
- Mouse
- 1 additional free power socket per student
- Height-adjustable trainer table > 120 cm width
- Matching standing aid or chair for trainer
- Windows 11 computer (or BYOD) with MS Office
- HDMI and Connectors for presentation equipment
- Facilities suitable for Disabled-access
STEP 4
Acceptance
You did it! Your company is now part of the SAS Education delivery-world. The SAS team will get in touch as needed to locate and host SAS training to learners at your on premise SAS Accredited Training Centre.
STEP 5
Maintain
Your engagement will follow standard SAS Third-Party Provider structures and processes.
You'll need to maintain your SAS Training Centre Accreditation by staying up-to-date with your training facilities, providing our customers a supportive learning environment. The Accreditation of your SAS Training Centre will be continuously evaluated in order to be re-accredited every two years.
But don't worry – we provide guidance to help you keep up. We'll help you network with other SAS Accredited Training Centres to share knowledge, industry trends and training centre ideas.
