About the webinar

Stop us if you’ve heard this one before: Developing models takes too long, is too expensive and our team is getting inconsistent results.

How productive could you be if none of that was true?

SAS Chief Technology Officer Bryan Harris, alongside Alice McClure and Brett Wujek, will cover these business challenges and show you how SAS Viya Workbench enables productivity through a variety of demos.

We will discuss:

  • Challenge #1: “It takes too long to spin up a model.”
Workbench environments allow developers to create new models quickly, with minimal IT support. Viya Workbench gives developers this ability, with an important twist: The models can be published in a wide range of environments, not just SAS. You can choose your favorite. See this demoed live.
  • Challenge #2: “The infrastructure we need just costs too much.”
Viya Workbench helps developers avoid cloud hosting surprises by allowing for easy scaling up and down. Plus, it’s self-terminating, so users won’t incur unnecessary compute costs on the cloud. See for yourself how you can easily configure and scale for your project.
  • Challenge #3: “I’m getting different results when I expand to blended teams.”
Regardless of the programming language your developers use, the same underlying analytical tools driving Viya Workbench are consistent – and will deliver consistent results when using the same data. Watch how Viya Workbench makes model development a team sport.
