Philipp M. Christophel is an expert in mathematical optimization technology. For the last 15 years, he has been one of the principal developers for the linear optimization solvers in SAS/OR (PROC OPTMODEL and others) and SAS Optimization. Before SAS, he received a PhD in business computing from Paderborn University. He is an active researcher in the field of mixed-integer programming, with a special focus on the implementation and use of mixed-integer optimization solvers.
