What we do
Our Culture
Events
We are an active member of the thriving Scotland technology scene. We host and sponsor many internal and external events, from Scottish Government forums, to festivals of Data Innovation, Glasgow University Tech Society’s annual hackathon, as well as internal conferences and hackathons.
Our staff attend and speak regularly at events across the UK and the rest of the world; they organise testing streams at conferences; they even run podcasts
Charity
We feel a strong need to contribute to the local community, and therefore every year we organise a calendar of events including Kiltwalks, 10ks, half-marathons, quizzes, and other events to raise money for our sponsored charities.
In 2019 we hosted SEUFI, SAS’ annual international football 11-a-side tournament. 350 people from around the world descended on Glasgow to compete. Scotland were sadly defeated in the final to Russia, but the tournament allowed us to raise a huge amount for Scottish Autism and the SSPCA.
Wellbeing and Diversity
SAS is dedicated to the wellbeing of our staff, and our culture reflects that. We provide heaps of great benefits, from private health insurance, mental health support in the organization, massages, paid gym memberships, and much more. Indeed in 2019, SAS was awarded an Excellence in Wellbeing award.
We have a thriving, diverse organisation, and were named by Forbes as one of the Best Employers for Diversity. Our staff take part in several diversity and inclusion groups, including taking part in external industry groups focused on increasing diversity in the Software and Engineering field.
Careers
We have a proven track record of hiring the best and brightest. Our employees are sharp, proactive, and driven to make meaningful change.
Internships
We’re excited about investing in bright minds and fresh perspectives.
So don’t expect busywork. Our interns are integrated into product teams from Day 1, experiencing the breadth of the development lifecycle, and working on real products for real customers.
Make a real difference – and get paid while doing it
Graduate Track
SAS isn’t just looking for graduates. We’re looking for the right graduates. From day one you’ll contribute, work hard and be challenged to push yourself.
Every year, our graduate track brings in and supports our new employees as they grow and quickly develop into highly capable members of their teams. Graduates have the opportunity to experience different working groups, learn new skills, and build experience in the breadth of technologies we use.
Career-level and Senior Roles
Are you curious, passionate, authentic and accountable?
These are SAS’ core values that shape and influence everything we do. We are looking for well-rounded candidates that not only meet the technical requirements of a job, but that also want to do meaningful work that will make a difference in the world.
We are currently hiring for a number of career-level and senior positions.
