Talent Connection in Poland: Bridging the Gap Between Emerging Talent and Industry Leaders
We actively participate in Career Days and Job Fairs at select higher education institutions to connect with students skilled in SAS and introduce them to companies that use SAS—whether they are our customers or partners. Additionally, we host SAS-specific events that feature dedicated Talent Connection opportunities. One recent example is SAS Innovate 2024, held in May in Warsaw.

The SAS Academic Specialisation is a distinction granted by SAS to Universities and other higher education institutions that incorporate SAS into their curriculum, requiring a minimum of 150 hours of SAS-related instruction. More information can be found here.

I was first introduced to SAS technology during my studies in Data Analysis - Big Data at the Warsaw School of Economics. My participation in the university's "Data Scientist with the SAS System" certification program and involvement in the Business Analytics Student Scientific Club sparked my interest in pursuing a career with SAS.
I secured a position in the CareerStart@SAS internship program after an engaging conversation with Ula Gieras, Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, at the IT PW 2024 Job Fair.
As a Data Scientist Intern, I had the opportunity to work with an exceptional international team on fascinating projects. I received extensive training in various technologies and had numerous opportunities for both personal and professional development, including obtaining certifications. I began my journey with SAS during my university studies, where I became acquainted with the development environment and gained foundational knowledge. To further enhance my skills and gain practical experience, I applied to the Academy of Young Talents organized by SAS. The two-week training program broadened my horizons and paved the way for my role at SCS Expert, a partner of SAS Institute Poland.
