The SAS Academic Specialisation is a distinction granted by SAS to Universities and other higher education institutions that incorporate SAS into their curriculum, requiring a minimum of 150 hours of SAS-related instruction. More information can be found here.

Thrilled to reflect on my participation at SAS Talent Connect: Business Meets Analytics. Had an incredible time engaging with the brilliant SAS Austria team, immersing myself in discussions around cutting-edge analytics. The event showcased two phenomenal guest speakers from Erste Bank Austria and BRZ, who shared invaluable insights into their collaboration with SAS - from customer intelligence to data science, artificial intelligence, and business analytics, their presentations were filled with valuable input, followed by insightful Q&As.
A special shoutout to Lauder Business School for connecting their students with great market players, and to Erste Bank und Sparkasse and Austrian Federal Computing Centre for shedding light on their impactful work in these domains! Very grateful for the chance to network with such inspiring professionals. Each conversation was a learning opportunity, and I'm truly thankful for these connections. Looking forward.

Risk and Insurance at Provinzial Versicherungen AG
Talent Connect event took place at the Provinzial Group premises in Düsseldorf on October 18, 2023. Together with SAS, we showcased to students from universities in Münster, Düsseldorf, and Cologne how exciting and diverse data science, analytics, and artificial intelligence are at Provinzial. I had the honor of sharing my personal journey, explaining how mathematics transformed from being my "enemy" to becoming my "friend."
The event was equally inspiring with presentations from my amazing colleagues. Their insights and experiences in data science, analytics, and AI highlighted the diversity and dynamism of these fields. We also demonstrated the various applications of AI at Provinzial and discussed the opportunities available through the SAS Academic Program, allowing students to explore these subjects during their studies and learn about concrete entry opportunities with us.
