SAS wins Datanami Editors’ Choice Awards for best data science platform and data governance product
Analytics leader SAS has earned two Datanami Editors’ Choice awards, honoring the SAS® Platform and SAS Data Governance in categories for data science platforms and data management, respectively.
Datanami, the leading publication covering data science in business, government and industry, announced its second annual Datanami Readers’ and Editors’ Choice Awards Sept. 25 during the Strata Data Conference. The awards highlight key trends, spotlight technological breakthroughs and capture a critical cross-section of the state of the industry.
"Datanami is the premier news portal covering big data and advanced-scale analytics, and its readers are at the forefront of the global data science community,” said Tom Tabor, CEO of Tabor Communications, which publishes Datanami. “By taking part in our annual Readers’ Choice program, our readership has the privilege of honoring the top organizations making strides in big data today. The Datanami Readers’ and Editors’ Choice Awards voice not only our support, but also the appreciation from the community at large, and we couldn’t be more proud to celebrate these organizations and their accomplishments. Our congratulations go out to all the winners.”
The SAS Platform was selected as the Editors’ Choice in the Best Data Science Platform category. The SAS Platform, which includes SAS® Viya™ products, helps users quickly create value from data by seamlessly transitioning through the stages of the analytics life cycle – from data to discovery to deployment.
SAS Data Governance was selected as the Editors’ Choice in the Best Big Data Product or Technology: Data Management category. SAS Data Governance helps companies maintain a consistent set of policies, processes and owners for their corporate information.
