Dr. Mostafa Hodieb
President at The Arab Academy for Management, Banking and Financial Sciences
Dr. Mostafa Hodieb has more than 46 years of demonstrated international leadership experience focusing on advancing education, organizational transformation, creating opportunities and new markets. Improving individual, social, and economic welfare has always been the focus of Dr. Hodieb’s accumulative work and achievements. He is a seasoned strategist with expertise in improving organizations' effectiveness, developing new growth areas and creating strategic partnerships and alliances. He led several regional and global institutions, projects and initiatives with reputable organizations in the fields of education such as London School of Economics (LSE), Harvard Business School, The American Academy of Financial Management (AAFM) and the ABA. This is in addition to his consultancy work that includes but limited to the UNDP, USAID, IMF, IFC, World Bank, European Union, GIZ and more.
Dr. Mostafa Hodieb obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Cairo University, Egypt and his Master of Science and Doctorate Degrees in Accounting and International Business from the University of South Carolina, USA. Dr. Hodieb has authored and published five books in accounting and several papers and articles. Dr. Hodieb was a member of the High Committees for the Coordination of Joint Arab Action and Arabic Economic Unity, at the League of Arab States, a Non-Governmental representative of the Partnership for Financial Excellence of the Treasury Department, USA, and a member of the advisory committee, US Secretary of Finance. He is a member of the American Accounting Association, National Accounting Associations, British Bankers Association and Egyptian Auditors Association.
