The oil and gas industry has been the subject of more Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) enforcement proceedings than any other business sector. As with most regulatory compliance and financial remediation issues, getting ahead of potential issues internally before being subject to external scrutiny pays big dividends for corporations with complex organizational and accounting structures.
