SAS appoints Nick Lisi as Executive Vice President of Global Sales
Analytics software leader SAS has named Nick Lisi Executive Vice President of Global Sales. Lisi most recently served on SAS’ executive leadership team as Senior Vice President of Sales and Global Field Operations. He takes on the top sales position for SAS with responsibility for a staff of more than 3,700 in direct sales, operations and channels.
Lisi has 33 years of sales experience at major technology firms including EMC, IBM and Xerox. He has a long tenure at SAS as a country office manager and corporate sales executive. Lisi brings strength in talent acquisition, metric-driven sales processes and performance management.
Prior to his global role, Lisi served as Vice President of SAS Americas, where he was instrumental in growing and developing the organization in the United States, Canada and Latin America. He led development efforts for the US Customer Loyalty and Retention team and its use of a customer development lifecycle model to ensure SAS remains current with customers’ needs.
Lisi also led the creation of a volume sales channel in the US. Since its inception, this inside sales division has generated more than $150 million in new sales revenue and established relationships with over 2,700 new customers.
Lisi began his SAS career in 2003 as the Vice President of Sales for SAS Canada, where he drove consistent year-over-year revenue growth. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history and Italian literature and a master’s in business administration from the University of Toronto.
